No Excuses! Only Results!

Meet Your Trainer Nicole!

Sports and training have always been an important part of my life, it’s second nature for me. I started playing soccer at the age of 5, which sparked and moulded my love for health and fitness!

What I Believe In

My career is built on authenticity, the REAL fitness experience. I shamelessly grunt and make ugly faces while training as I am not concerned with how I look. My main focus is that my goals are being met and that I am being the best trainer possible. Being a woman is one thing when it comes to living in the face of adversity but being a black woman is a major challenge. I want to change the narrative and perception of black and female trainers, for us to be taken much more seriously in the industry. Not only on social media but by professional fitness companies as well.

It is a constant battle and one I intend to win by staying true to myself and the brand I created. This had led to many wins along my journey such as featuring on Essence’s ‘Top 10 Black Females to Follow for Fitness Inspiration’, being published in various fitness magazines and winning my first CrossFit competition in 2018.

As a software engineer and implementations specialist, I have a natural tendency to tinker with and improve products. This is what I do with my health and fitness plans to ensure my clients reach their full potential.

My Journey

High School is where I found my ultimate passion in sports; track and field. I sprinted through to college graduation before I made the decision to hang up my cleats for army boots. I served eight years in the military and maintained a high level of fitness performance throughout.

Now that I am older, I understand the importance of health and fitness and why I should make it my main priority. Doing this I have maintained a positive and healthy lifestyle and I want to share the benefits of this with you.

Living a healthy lifestyle is second nature for me and I want to make sure my clients are living by that notion as well. Taking serious care of one’s health is vital, especially within the African-American community. Disease rates run high with 13.8% of the population in fair or poor health according to a 2018 CDC study.
